A rotating exhibit of outstanding artists, regional or not
Pamen Pereyra

Currently on view: Pamen Pereira (Ferrol, Spain, 1963). One of Spain's most distinctive contemporary artists, Pereira works across drawing, painting, sculpture and installation, drawing most of her imagery from nature. Shaped by long stays in Japan and Tanzania and by expeditions to Antarctica and the Sahara, her work explores the connections between all things, fragility and the passing of time. Branches, roots, stones and horns become poetic presences in the space. Her work is held in leading Spanish museums such as IVAM and CGAC, and she won the Spanish art critics' prize at ARCO Madrid in 2022.
